Our Team

Rick founded EFG CPAs, known initially as Eastham Foster, with Scott Eastham in 1994. He graduated from the University of Washington in 1987. He is an active member on several committees for the Washington State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Rick is a no-nonsense leader when it comes to doing everything possible to reduce the tax burden of clients and making sure everything’s supportable in case of audit. Sly humor is his gift to the EFG CPAs team.

Teresa joined our firm in 1999, the year she graduated from Central Washington University. She became partner in 2018. In addition to serving general businesses, Teresa specializes in nonprofit organizations, estates and trusts. Teresa leads many initiatives and is a mentor to EFG CPAs accounting staff. Clients say she’s open-hearted and thorough, a combination they appreciate.

Michael joined EFG CPAs in 2013. He graduated from Central Washington University in 2011. He plays a pivotal role as trainer and supporter for our accounting crew. Michael believes in verifying and double-checking before calling a project complete. He enjoys answering questions and the opportunity to make taxes and business planning less confusing for clients.

Benny joined our team in 2019, the year he graduated from Northwest University. He enjoys interacting with clients, ensuring their books are up to date and helping clients stay on top of all the relevant details.

Justin believes that fully investigating variables and double-checking his work lead to better accounting outcomes for clients. He is an Accounting and Marketing major at Washington State University and is on track to earn his bachelor’s degree in 2020.

Sarah joined EFG CPAs in 2006 and holds a degree in English from Master’s University. She keeps the firm’s systems and processes flowing and supports clients with technical and general requests. Sarah leads the Support Group by example, paying attention to the little things that add up to a more stress-free tax time for clients.

DeLaura plays a vital role for our clients and our team. Hers is the first voice you hear when you call the EFG CPAs office, and the friendly face you see when stopping by. She keeps track and organizes client documents, payments and archived records. DeLaura joined our team in 2016.

Andi steps in every tax season to provide client service and team support. She helps communications flow smoothly so clients get their questions answered and information is relayed quickly as deadlines approach. Andi’s been part our team since 2008.
